Other Research Projects in Luderitz

Several other research projects take place in Luderitz. The Namib Desert Brown Hyena Project works closely together with the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources (MFMR) in Luderitz. Mr. Ndako Mukapuli, the Namibian seal biologist, is currently studying seal pup survival at a mainland seal breeding colony south of Luderitz, where Brown Hyena activity plays an important role.
